Concealing method of video signal

Claim 2

A concealing method of video signal characterized by composing one page of digital video signals in K fields (K being an integer), decomposing data in two pages into blocks, compressing the data by bit rate reduction and recording and reproducing or transmitting the compressed data, in which of an error to be concealed over two pages, a portion corresponding to a first page is concealed by using signals of a preceding page or both signals spatially adjacent to a signal in which the error was detected and the signals in the preceding page, while a portion corresponding to a second page is concealed by using signals of a succeeding page or both the signals spatially adjacent to the signal in which the error was detected and the signals in the succeeding page.

A concealing method of claim 1, wherein one page is one field.

A concealing method of claim 1, wherein, when detecting an error in block unit, the pixels in the first page of the pixels composing the block in which an error has been detected are replaced by the pixels at the same position of the first page, and the pixels in the second page of the pixels composing the block in which an error has been detected are replaced by the pixels at the same position of the succeeding page.

A concealing method of video signal characterized by composing one page of digital video signals in K fields (K being an integer), decomposing data in two pages into blocks, compressing the data by bit rate reduction, and recording and reproducing or transmitting the compressed data, in which, when concealing a reproduced or received signal, it is judged whether the signal is a moving picture or a still picture, and in case of a moving picture, a portion corresponding to a first page of a signal in which an error has been detected is concealed by using a signal of a preceding page or both a signal spatially adjacent to the signal in which the error has been detected and the signal of the preceding page, and a portion corresponding to a second page is concealed by using a signal of a succeeding page or both a signal spatially adjacent to the signal in which the error has been detected and the signal of the succeeding page, and in case of a still picture, the portion corresponding to the first page of the signal in which an error has been detected is concealed by replacing with a signal at the same position of two pages before, and the portion corresponding to the second page is concealed by replacing with a signal at the same position of two pages before.

A concealing method of video signal characterized by composing one page of digital video signals in K fields (K being an integer), decomposing data in two pages into blocks, compressing the data by bit rate reduction, and recording and reproducing or transmitting the compressed data, in which, when concealing a reproduced or received signal, it is judged whether the signal is a moving picture or a still picture, and in case of a moving picture, a portion corresponding to a first page of a signal in which an error has been detected is concealed by using a signal of a preceding page or both a signal spatially adjacent to the signal in which the error has been detected and the signal of the preceding page, and a portion corresponding to a second page is concealed by using a signal of a succeeding page or both a signal spatially adjacent to the signal in which the error has been detected and the signal of the succeeding page, and in case of a still picture, the portion corresponding to the first page of the signal in which an error has been detected is concealed by replacing with a signal at the same position of two pages before, and the portion corresponding to the second page is concealed by replacing with a signal at the same position of two pages before.

A concealing method of claim 5, wherein, when detecting an error in block unit, it is judged whether the signal is a moving picture ora still picture, and in case of a moving picture, pixels in the first page of pixels composing a block in which an error has been detected are replaced by pixels at the same positions of the preceding page, and pixels in the second page of the pixels composing the block in which an error has been detected are replaced with pixels at the same positions of the succeeding page, and in case of a still picture, the portion corresponding to the first page of the signal in which an error has been detected is concealed by replacing with the signal at the same position of two pages before, and the portion corresponding to the second page is concealed by replacing with the signal at the same position of two pages before.

A concealing apparatus of video signal for composing one page of digital video signals in Kfields (K being an integer), decomposing data in two pages into blocks, compressing the data by bit rate reduction, and recording and reproducing or transmitting the compressed data, comprising first switchover means for receiving page data obtained by reproducing, expanding and composing the block data, a page memory for receiving an output of the first switchover means, second switchover means for receiving an output of the page memory, third switchover means for connecting or disconnecting the output of the first switchover means and an output of the second switchover means, and means for controlling the first switchover means, second switchover means, third switchover means and the page memory depending on an error detection signal showing a data to be concealed, in which the output of the second switchover means is a concealed output.

A concealing apparatus of video signal for composing one page of digital video signals in Kfields (K being an integer), decomposing data in two pages into blocks, compressing the data by bit rate reduction, and recording and reproducing or transmitting the compressed data, comprising first switchover means for receiving page data obtained by reproducing, expanding and composing the block data, a page memory for receiving an output of the first switchover means, second switchover means for receiving an output of the page memory, third switchover means for connecting or disconnecting the output of the first switchover means and an output of the second switchover means, and means for controlling the first switchover means, second switchover means, third switchover means and the page memory depending on an error detection signal showing a data to be concealed, in which the output of the second switchover means is a concealed output.

A concealing apparatus of video signal for composing one page of digital video signals in Kfields (K being an integer), decomposing data in two pages into blocks, compressing the data by bit rate reduction, and recording and reproducing or transmitting the compressed data, comprising a two-page memory for receiving a reproduced and expanded block data and replacing a data to be concealed with a data of two pages before while composing the block data into a page data, first switchover means for receiving an output of the two-page memory, a page memory for receiving an output of the first switchover means, second switchover means for receiving an output of the page memory, third switchover means for connecting or disconnecting the output of the first switchover means and an output of the second switchover means, and means for controlling the first switchover means, second switchover means, third switchover means, the two-page memory and the page memory, depending on an error detection signal showing a data to be concealed, and a motion detection signal showing whether the data is a moving picture or a still picture, in which the output of the second switchover means is a concealed output.

A concealing apparatus of video signal for composing one page of digital video signals in Kfields (K being an integer), decomposing data in two pages into blocks, compressing the data by bit rate reduction, and recording and reproducing or transmitting the compressed data, comprising a two-page memory for receiving a reproduced and expanded block data and replacing a data to be concealed with a data of two pages before while composing the block data into a page data, first switchover means for receiving an output of the two-page memory, a page memory for receiving an output of the first switchover means, second switchover means for receiving an output of the page memory, third switchover means for connecting or disconnecting the output of the first switchover means and an output of the second switchover means, and means for controlling the first switchover means, second switchover means, third switchover means, the two-page memory and the page memory, depending on an error detection signal showing a data to be concealed, and a motion detection signal showing whether the data is a moving picture or a still picture, in which the output of the second switchover means is a concealed output.
