Les mèches 18,19 sont enroulées sur une partie centrale du complexe et avec des angles de dépose différents. Venant se superposer à l'enroulement des mèches 18,19, une mèche 20 de fibres imprégnées de résine est enroulée tout le long de la gaine. L'enveloppe composite ainsi formée est séparée du mandrin 16 par introduction d'air sous pression.
