Abstract
Abstract The roll bar (1) must be moved quickly in the event of an accident from its lowered position of rest into its upright and locked support position. On the other hand, the voluntary movement of the roll bar (1) between these two positions is to take place substantially more slowly. In order to avoid complicated additional drives, couplings and controls for the two drive modes (quick, slow), one and the same electric motor (3) is provided both for the sensor-controlled, quick moving out of the roll bar (1) and also the voluntary movement of the roll bar (1). <IMAGE>
