Abstract

Abstract In a DC-series-wound motor (M) whose rotation speed is controlled, monitored by a rotational speed measuring device (tachogenerator TG) and which is supplied from an AC source (R; Mp), in order to be able to ensure effective overload protection for the motor winding at a low structural and production cost, according to the invention the thermal switch (Th) which is provided for monitoring the winding is connected in series with the tachogenerator (TG). <IMAGE>
