Abstract

Abstract A flexible polypropylene resin suitable as thermoplastic elastomer, etc.; a propylene elastomer composition comprising said resin; and a process for producing an olefin polymer to be used in the production of said resin and said composition. Said polypropylene resin is composed of specified boiling heptane-soluble polypropylene and boiling heptane-insoluble polypropylene. Said elastomer composition is composed of said polypropylene resin and an ethylene/propylene copolymer or an ethylene/propylene/polyene copolymer. Said production process comprises conducting solvent-less polymerization such as vapor-phase one-step or multistep polymerization in the presence of a specified catalyst.
