Abstract The coagulation instrument consists of a shaft (1) with a channel (6) for the passage of an endoscope lens (3), and a channel (7) for the passage of a flexible coagulation flushing and suction catheter (19), which can be deflected distally in at least one plane by means of a proximal handle (23), it being possible for flushing liquid to be delivered and removed via the shaft (1) and/or the flushing and suction catheter (19). <IMAGE>
