Abstract
Abstract A time-division multiplex transmission system is described which has base stations (FS) and mobile stations (MS). The mobile stations (MS) contain means for determining their respective location and the distance from the base station (FS). The mobile stations shift their transmitting time as a function of the distance in such a manner that the signals sent by them arrive at the base station (FS) at the correct time with respect to the time scale of the base station (FS). <IMAGE>
