Abstract This specification discloses an information processing method and an information processing apparatus in which a renewed control program for rewriting a control program stored in the rewritable memory of the apparatus storing therein a control program for controlling the operation of the apparatus itself is memorized in a memory medium removably mountable in the apparatus.
