Warning system with a measuring cell and alarm signal to indicate the condition of a gas filter
Abstract
Abstract The invention describes a warning system with a measuring cell and alarm monitors for indicating the state of exhaustion of a gas filter connected to a breathing connection, the warning system being constructed as a unit separate from the gas filter. The system comprises a) a warning device (1) which is arranged on a breathing tube (8), which is connected behind the gas filter (11) in the flow direction, and connected to this breathing tube in terms of flow, b) an alarm monitor which is constructed as a mechanical device (6) which has a pivotable hinged piece (14) which can be disengaged in the state of exhaustion of the gas filter (11) measured by the measuring cell, and seals the breathing tube (8) in the direction of flow, and c) a hinged piece (14), which has an opening (17) through which the wearer of the equipment breathes, a perceptible increase in the inhalation resistance being an index of the imminent state of exhaustion of the gas filter (11). <IMAGE>
