Abstract

Abstract A radio telephone apparatus for transmitting and receiving information signals as electrical waves includes a main body section (1) towards one end of which a speaker unit (8) is enclosed. A battery casing (15) accommodating a battery which is adapted for supplying the power to the main body section (1) is detachably mounted on the other end of the main body section to reduce the size and the thickness of the apparatus. A ringer device is enclosed within the battery casing so that the acoustic sound emitted by the ringer is prevented from reaching the user's auditory which is in the vicinity of the speaker unit (8).

Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 7
Claim 1
Independent Claim 103 words
A radio telephone apparatus comprising a receiver section (2,3) including a speaker unit (7) and a transmitter section (2,3) including a microphone unit (23), wherein the improvement resides in that it further comprises a first casing (1) accommodating at least said speaker unit, a second casing (15) accommodating a battery (16) supplying a driving current to said receiver section and said transmitter section, said second casing having a releasable attachment section (17) for said first casing on one side thereof, said microphone unit being mounted on the other side of said second casing opposite to said side provided with said releasable attachment section,
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 48 words
The radio telephone apparatus according to claim 1 wherein a microphone container accommodating said microphone unit is openably and closably provided on the other side of said second casing so that said microphone unit may be operated in both the opened and closed states of said microphone container.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 87 words
A radio telephone apparatus comprising a receiver section accommodating a speaker unit on one side thereof and a power receiving terminal on the other side thereof, a battery container detachably mounted on the other end of said receiving section and including a power supply terminal adapted to be connected to said power receiving terminal, said battery container accommodating a battery for supplying the power to said receiver section through said power supply terminal and said power receiving terminal, and a ringer device enclosed in said battery container.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 18 words
The radio telephone apparatus according to claim 3 wherein the microphone unit is provided in said battery container.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 152 words
A radio telephone apparatus comprising a spring contact provided on a battery container for facing the outside of a casing of a battery container containing a battery, said battery container being adapted to be attached to or detached from a receiver section by being slid relative thereto, said receiver section enclosing at least a speaker unit, a contact cover member provided on said battery container for sliding between a position overlying said spring contact and a position laying open said spring contact to outside, - biasing means for resiliently biasing said contact cover member to a position overlying said spring contact, and an abutting member provided outwardly of said receiver section, said abutting member abutting on said cover member at the time of attachment of said battery container to said receiver section for sliding said cover member against the force of said biasing means for laying open said spring contact to outside.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 18 words
The radio telephone apparatus according to claim 3 wherein the microphone device is provided in said battery container.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 40 words
The radio telephone apparatus according to claim 5 wherein a microphone container accommodating said microphone unit is openably and closably mounted so that said microphone unit may be in operation in the opened and closed states of said microphone container.
