Endosseous dental implant
Abstract
An endosseous dental implant, consisting of an anchoring part that can be inserted into the jaw, a passage part or section that penetrates the gums and a fastening part that is accessible from the oral cavity for a dental prosthesis to be firmly connected to the implant, is to be improved in such a way that the growing part of the anchoring part Jawbone is favored without causing harmful influences. This is achieved in that the surface (10) of the anchoring part or section (5) is smooth and polished, wherein at least the surface (10) of the anchoring part (4) consists of or with a material with semiconducting properties and relatively low electron conductivity is coated. The peripheral surface (12) of the lead-through part or section (5) consists of a material with metallic or almost metallic electron conductivity or is coated with this.
