Claim 1
Independent Claim
67 words
Method of charging secondary battery comprises the following steps of to detect the battery voltage during charging a secondary battery, a first detecting step of detecting that the secondary differential value of the detected voltage curve changes from positive value to a negative value at the point C or its near portion, charge control steps performed in response to the detection operation in the first detection step.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim
105 words
Method of charging secondary battery comprises the following steps of to detect the battery voltage during charging a secondary battery, a first detecting step of detecting that the secondary differential value of the detected voltage curve (d²V/dt²) changes from positive value to a negative value at the point C or its near portion, second detecting process for detecting a condition that change of the battery voltage per unit time of the battery voltage is 0 or negative maximum value, said condition occurring after the detection in the first detecting step charge control steps performed in response to the detection operation in the second detection step.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim
18 words
Method of charging secondary battery wherein the secondary battery is pair battery comprising a plurality of secondary batteries.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim
30 words
Method of charging secondary battery wherein the charge control step comprises to continue charge for a predetermined period of time with a current smaller or similar to the previous current.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim
18 words
Method of charging secondary battery wherein the charge control step performs a trickle charging a low current consecutively.
