Abstract

Abstract This device comprises two slide rails (3) which are associated with two respective slide tracks (4) attached to the seat (1) and are fixed to the floor (2) of the vehicle using blocks (7, 17, 27) and screws, this device being characterised in that the blocks (7, 17, 27) possess a portion allowing these blocks to be clipped onto the slide rail (3) and certain blocks (7, 27) are provided with at least one drilling designed to positively hold the screws (8) in position ready for screwing to the floor, in such a way that the seat (1) forms an integral unit (10) ready to be mounted on the vehicle floor. Such a mounting and fixing device applies, for example, to the automotive industry. <IMAGE>
