Total Claims: 4
Claim 1
Independent Claim 127 words
An automobile mirror stay comprised of a polyamide resin composition comprising 100 parts by weight of a polyamide resin derivable from xylylenediamine as diamine component and an α, ω-linear aliphatic dibasic acid as dibasic acid component or 100 parts by weight of a polyamide mixture containing 40 to 99% by weight of a polyamide resin derivable from xylylenediamine as diamine component and an α, ω-linear aliphatic dibasic acid as dibasic acid component and 60 to 1% by weight of, as a second polyamide, nylon 66, the weight percentages being based on the total amount of the two polyamides, 1 to 20 parts by weight of an epoxy resin, 20 to 200 parts by weight of mica and 5 to 250 parts by weight of a fibrous filler.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 35 words
An automobile mirror stay according to claim 1, wherein the said epoxy resin is at least one of glycidyl ether epoxy resin, glycidyl ester epoxy resin, glycidylamine epoxy resin, and alicyclic and heterocyclic epoxy resins.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 18 words
An automobile mirror stay according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the fibrous filler is a glass fiber.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 40 words
An automobile mirror stay according to claim 1, 2 or 3 wherein the mica has been prepared by forming powdered mica having an average particle diameter of not more than 200 µm into a massive form with a resin binder.
