Urethanes from aliphatic fluoroalcohols, isocyanates and carboxylic acids, process for their preparation and their use
Abstract
The urethanes described are made up of aliphatic fluoroalcohol, triisocyanate and a carboxylic acid. They are produced by reacting the aliphatic fluoroalcohol with the triisocyanate to form the fluoroalcohol-triisocyanate adduct and by reacting this adduct with the carboxylic acid. The new urethanes are preferably used for finishing textiles in water, oil and dirt repellency.
