Abstract A magnetic tape cassette which can be accommodated with a plurality of others in a cassette magazine (31) and withdrawn from the cassette magazine (31) by a cassette changer for use, has an engaging portion (23) formed on a lid (6) mounted on a front portion of the casing (1) of the cassette, the engaging portion (23) being engageable with a withdrawing member (40) of the cassette changer. <IMAGE>
