Abstract Translated from German Die Erfindung betrifft neue bioabbaubare Copolymere aus Milchsäure und Weinsäure, ihre Herstellung durch direkte Polykondensation der freien Hydroxycarbonsäuren und ihre Verwendung in chirurgischen Hilfsmitteln als Implantate als Behälter oder Träger von therapeutischen Mitteln oder Agrochemikalien sowie als wasserlöslicher Schutzfilm. The invention relates to new biodegradable copolymers of lactic acid and tartaric acid, their production by direct polycondensation of the free hydroxycarboxylic acids and their use in surgical aids as implants as containers or carriers for therapeutic agents or agrochemicals and as a water-soluble protective film.
