Abstract Translated from German Die Erfindung betrifft eine breitbandige Polarisationsweiche mit symmetrischer Doppelverzweigung (D), an die jeweils über ein Paar von Weichenarmabschnitten (A1,A2;A3,A4) zwei gleich aufgebaute, symmetrische Serienverzweigungen (SV1,SV2) ange­schlossen sind. Die ausschließlich E-Knicke (E1-E10;E11-E20) aufweisenden Weichenarmabschnitte sind so angeordnet und ausge­legt, daß sich zum einen genaue Phasensymmetrie zwischen und innerhalb den beiden Paaren ergibt und zum anderen eine voll­ständige Herstellung der Weiche in numerisch gesteuerter Fräs­technik möglich ist. Die Polarisationsweiche nach der Erfindung läßt sich bei der Speisung von Richtfunk- und Satellitenfunk-­Reflektorantennen verwenden. The invention relates to a broadband polarization switch with a symmetrical double branch (D), to which two identically constructed, symmetrical series branches (SV1, SV2) are connected via a pair of switch arm sections (A1, A2; A3, A4). The switch arm sections, which have only E-bends (E1-E10; E11-E20), are arranged and designed so that on the one hand there is exact phase symmetry between and within the two pairs and on the other hand a complete manufacture of the switch is possible using numerically controlled milling technology. The polarization switch according to the invention can be used in the feeding of directional radio and satellite radio reflector antennas.
