Abstract
Abstract The invention relates to a double-beam interferometer for Fourier spectroscopy, in particular for emission measurement of trace gas concentrations on board spacecraft, in which the optical wavelength difference is determined by a congruent rotating excentric (11, 12) which produces the linear deflection of retroreflectors (17, 18) via a linkage (13, 14). Terrestrial use, for example for measuring the emission of chimneys, as well as use in aircraft are likewise possible. An exemplary embodiment is explained and sketched in the figures of the drawing. <IMAGE>
