A method as claimed in claim 1, further including entering into the table, volume control commands to enable volume changes in the audio sound-track.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim

A method as claimed in claim 1 or 2, wherein the table is provided with a list of allowable actions performable on the audio/visual presentation, only a listed allowed action being enabled in response to a user selection thereof.
Claim 4
Independent Claim
41 words
A method as claimed in any preceding claim, further comprising the steps of: playing the audio sound-track; and displaying continuing sound indications of the audio sound track along one dimension of the editor screen, accompanied by discrete time of play indications.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim
30 words
A method as claimed in claim 4, further comprising inserting narrative text adjacent the sound indications and time of play indications on the screen when the narration is to occur.
Claim 6
Independent Claim
26 words
A method as claimed in any preceding claim, further comprising inserting a command in the table to delay further processing until a user response is received.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim

A method as claimed in claim 6, further comprising inserting a command to perform a non-screen, non-audio process and to await its completion until proceeding with further commands.
Claim 8
Independent Claim
92 words
A method as claimed in any preceding claim, further including displaying a tabular representation of the audio/visual presentation, including a column for command statements, columns for visual presentation function indications, and columns for synchronisation labels and time indications; enabling a user to insert in the tabular representation the command statements, synchronisation labels and time indications and to select and insert the visual presentation functions; whereby during execution of the audio/visual presentation, the visual images are presented in accordance with the function indications, time indications and synchronisation labels inserted in the tabular presentation.
