Abstract Translated from German Ein Reflektor für eine Leuchte weist eine Form auf, die in einem die optische Achse 1 enthaltenden Schnitt zwischen zwei Kurven liegt, welche die Reflektorschnittkurve R einhüllen. Bei den einhüllenden Kurven kann es sich un zwei Ellipsen, zwei Parabeln oder eine Ellipse und eine Parabel handeln. A reflector for a luminaire has a shape which lies in a section containing the optical axis 1 between two curves which envelop the reflector section curve R. The enveloping curves can be two ellipses, two parabolas or one ellipse and one parabola.
