Abstract
Abstract Flame-retardant polyester resin compositions suitable for prolonged use in a high-temperature environment are provided by a blend of (A) a thermoplastic polyester, (B) between 0.5 and 25% by weight (based on the weight of the composition) of a halogenated bisimide compound (C) between 0.1 and 10% by weight (based on the weight of the composition) of a bisoxazoline compound, and optionally (D) a polytetrafluoroethylene resin, and (E) an olefin polymer, fatty acid amide and/or a fatty acid ester of a polyhydric alcohol.
