Adaptor for pacemaker electrode
Abstract
Abstract An adaptor device for a pacemaker has an adaptor body (7) made from a resilient, insulating material, a clamp (8) enclosed thereby and made from a highly conductive material with a longitudinal bore (21), having a threaded bore (10), extending transversely to the longitudinal bore (21) of the clamp (8), through the adaptor body (7), and a plug-in electrode (16) connected to the adaptor body (7) and provided with a pacemaker plug (17), and a clamping screw (11) which can be driven into the transverse threaded bore (10) and has a lenticular Imbus screw head and an O-ring (12) surrounding the threaded shank, and an Imbus screwdriver (13) which fits the clamping screw (11), and additionally a stripping device (4) consisting of a stripping holder (5) with an electrode guide mandrel (18) and a stripping ring (6) which can be displaced astride the electrode guide mandrel (18). <IMAGE>
