Abstract
Abstract The invention concerns a tilting unit for the seats of chairs and armchairs comprising a fixed box body (11) applied to a support base and provided with saddle seats (16) in which is inserted a coupling pin (13) fixed to an tilting support (10) which carries the seat. A closing plate (17) is placed astride the pin (13) and fixed to the box body (11) in order to close the saddle seats (16) and to retain the pin there with a capability of rotation. <IMAGE>
