Abstract Translated from German Das monostabile Verzögerungsrelais trägt im Erregerteil einen Draht aus einer Form-Gedächtnis-Legierung, wobei der Erregerstrom diesen Draht mittels eines austauschbaren Dickschicht-Widerstandes erwärmt. Die mit der Erwärmung verbundene Kontraktion des Drahtes wird dazu be­nutzt, im Schalteil einen Sprungschalter zu betätigen, dessen Rück­stellfeder gleichzeitig die für den Draht aus der Form-Gedächtnis-Le­gierung erforderliche Zugspannung erzeugt. The monostable delay relay carries a wire made of a shape-memory alloy in the excitation part, the excitation current heating this wire by means of an exchangeable thick-film resistor. The contraction of the wire associated with the heating is used to actuate a snap switch in the switching part, the return spring of which simultaneously generates the tensile stress required for the wire made of the shape-memory alloy.
