Abstract Translated from German Polyacrylsäureester mit quaternären Ammoniumgruppen, erhältlich durch Umesterung von Polyacrylsäurealkylestern mit einem Gemisch von Dialkylaminoalkoholen und gesättigten oder ungesättigten aliphatischen Alkoholen mit 8 bis 22 Kohlenstoffatomen und anschließende Quaternierung. Die Polymeren sind frei von physiologisch bedenklichen Bestandteilen und können deshalb zur Herstellung kosmetischer Produkte, vorzugsweise für die Haarkosmetik, verwendet werden. Die Polymeren eignen sich ferner zur Ausrüstung von Fasern oder textilen Produkten. Die Erfindung betrifft ferner Polyacrylsäureester mit tertiären Aminogruppen, welche als Zwischenprodukte bei der Herstellung der Polyacrylsäureester mit quaternären Ammoniumgruppen auftreten. Polyacrylic acid esters with quaternary ammonium groups, obtainable by transesterification of polyacrylic acid alkyl esters with a mixture of dialkylamino alcohols and saturated or unsaturated aliphatic alcohols with 8 to 22 carbon atoms and subsequent quaternization. The polymers are free from physiologically questionable constituents and can therefore be used for the production of cosmetic products, preferably for hair cosmetics. The polymers are also suitable for finishing fibers or textile products. The invention further relates to polyacrylic acid esters with tertiary amino groups, which occur as intermediates in the preparation of the polyacrylic acid esters with quaternary ammonium groups.
