Abstract
Abstract An image preprocessor for preprocessing a video signal which represents an image to be recognized includes an imaging unit for imaging an object of recognition and outputting a video signal representing the image of the object, an inference unit for preprocessing the video signal by an inference based on settable processing rules and outputting results of the inference as preprocessing data, and a memory device for storing the preprocessing data for the purpose of recognition processing.
