Abstract

Abstract The address table editing system is used, for example, for dividing voice data continuously recorded on an optical disk (20) into a plurality of voice files, for setting up a start address and an end address for each of the voice files, and for editing an address table of the voice files. The address table editing system includes: a first playback unit (10) for replaying the voice data continuously recorded on the optical disk (20); a detection unit (33) for detecting a clock time indicating the address of the voice file; an input unit (64) operated by an operator for setting up the start address and end address when the operator hears the voice file replayed by the first playback unit; a storage unit (40) for storing the address table, wherein the start address and the end address when the operator performs the setting up of the address by hearing the voice file replayed from the first playback unit (10), are recorded in the address table of the storage unit.

Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 9
Claim 1
Independent Claim 150 words
An address table editing system in which data continuously recorded in a storage medium is divided into a plurality of files, a start address and an end address are set up for each of said files, and an address table of said files is edited, the system comprising: a first playback means for replaying said data continuously recorded in said storage medium; a detection means for detecting a clock time indicating said address of said file; an input means operated by an operator for setting up said start address and end address when said operator monitors said file replayed by said first playback means; and a storage means for storing said address table; wherein when said operator performs the setting up of said address by monitoring said file replayed from said first playback means, said start address and end address are recorded in said address table of said storage means.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 150 words
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 60 words
An address table editing system as claimed in claim 1, wherein said address table editing system further comprises a second playback means for replaying said file based on said start address and said end address stored in said address table during several seconds, and confirming the correctness of said start address and said end address stored in said address table.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 45 words
An address table editing system as claimed in claim 2, wherein said second playback means replays said data between said files or until the end of said data and confirms the correctness of said start address and said end address stored in said address table.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 47 words
An address table editing system as claimed in claim 2, wherein said second playback means replays said data from a point several seconds before based on said start address stored in said address table and confirms the correctness of said start address stored in said address table.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 31 words
An address table editing system as claimed in any preceding claim, wherein said data continuously recorded in said storage medium is voice data, and each said file is a voice file.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 78 words
An address table editing system as claimed in claim 5, wherein said address table editing system further comprises, a first display means for displaying character data of a document file corresponding to said voice file to be divided, and a second display means for displaying said character data of said document file in an inverted form when setting up said start address and said end address of said voice file for supporting said editing of said address table.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 38 words
An address table editing system as claimed in claim 6, wherein said second display means displays said character data stored in said document file in the inverted form when replaying said voice file already set to said address.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim 19 words
An address table editing system as claimed in any preceding claim, wherein said storage medium is an optical disk.
