Abstract

Abstract The two fibre end sleeves (2, 2') are positioned in a centring sleeve (3), which is provided in the longitudinal direction with a slot (4). In order to prevent or limit sagging of the centring sleeve on insertion of the fibre end sleeves, the slotted centring sleeve (3) is surrounded by a stabilising sleeve (11). As a result, bending ruptures on the relatively hard centring sleeve (3) are avoided. <IMAGE>
