Abstract

Abstract A vehicle is described, the body of which comprises at least one cross-member (3) delimiting a vehicle engine or luggage compartment (4) and defined by a box structure which is made fluid-tight to retain a liquid in its interior, and is provided upperly with a filler (20) closed in a fluid-tight manner by a removable stopper (27), and lowerly with means (21) for withdrawing from the interior of said box structure a liquid contained in it, so that the box structure acts as a storage reservoir for a wash liquid for the vehicle windows.

Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 8
Claim 1
Independent Claim 76 words
A vehicle with a body comprising at least one cross-member delimiting a vehicle engine or luggage compartment and at least partly defined by a box structure, characterised in that said box structure is made fluid-tight to retain a liquid in its interior, and is provided upperly with a filler closed in a fluid-tight manner by a removable stopper, and lowerly with means for withdrawing from the interior of said box structure a liquid contained in it.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 76 words
A vehicle with a body comprising at least one cross-member delimiting a vehicle engine or luggage compartment and at least partly defined by a box structure, characterised in that said box structure is made fluid-tight to retain a liquid in its interior, and is provided upperly with a filler closed in a fluid-tight manner by a removable stopper, and lowerly with means for withdrawing from the interior of said box structure a liquid contained in it.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 30 words
A vehicle as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that said box structure forms part of a front cross-member of the vehicle, disposed in proximity to the vehicle front bumper.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 60 words
A vehicle as claimed in claim 1 or 2, characterised in that said box structure is composed of an outer element defined by a portion of the vehicle hood, and a concave inner element shaped as a reservoir and fixed perimetrally in a fluid-tight manner against the inner surface of the outer element and with its concavity facing this latter.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 20 words
A vehicle as claimed in claim 3, characterised in that said stopper is provided with a vent hose disposed therethrough.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 39 words
A vehicle as claimed in claim 4, characterised in that said stopper is disposed such that said vent hose is always above the level assumed by said liquid contained in said box structure whatever the position of said hood.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 33 words
A vehicle as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that said withdrawal means comprise at least one electric pump, said liquid being a wash liquid for the vehicle windows.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 35 words
A vehicle as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that said box structure is formed from a pair of elements constructed of synthetic plastics material joined together in a continuous manner.
