Abstract Translated from German Ein oxidierend und/oder reduzierend wirkender Abgasreinigungskatalysator mit verminderter Neigung zur H₂S-Emission enthält als Träger aktives Al₂O₃, welches mit CeO₂ und gegebenenfalls ZrO₂ sowie Pt, Pt und/oder Rh beladen ist und daneben noch 0,1 bis 40 Gew.% ZnO, bezogen auf Al₂O₃, enthält. An oxidizing and / or reducing exhaust gas purification catalyst with a reduced tendency to H₂S emission contains as a carrier active Al₂O₃ which is loaded with CeO₂ and optionally ZrO₂ as well as Pt, Pt and / or Rh and also 0.1 to 40% by weight ZnO, based on Al₂O₃ contains.
