Abstract

Abstract Electrical connectors comprising a female electrical contact unit (10) and a male electrical contact unit (38) characterised in that the female electrical contact unit (1) consists of a lamina bent into the form of a hair-pin so as to present a core (11) and two branches (8 and 9), whereas the male electrical contact unit (38) is shaped so as to present a V-shaped prolongation (30), the free end of one of the wings of which is provided with an extension (33) terminated by an elbow (34) directed towards the projecting part of the V, the height (L) lying between the elbow (34) and the projecting part of the V (32) being greater than the gap (1) separating the branches (8 and 9) of the female contact unit (10). <IMAGE>
