Abstract

Abstract In monolithically integrated electronic circuits comprising an electrically programmable non-volatile memory, a specific identification is entered into non-volatile memory cells in the test phase during the production of the electronic circuit and any subsequent changing of this specific identification is prevented by a blocking device provided in the electronic circuit. In this connection, the specific identification can contain, in particular, a current time information. <IMAGE>
