Abstract Translated from German Die Erfindung betrifft einen wasserlöslichen Haftkleber auf Polyvinylcarbonsäurebasis mit mindestens einem hydroxylgruppenhaltigen Weichmacher mit einem Molekular­gewicht unter 1000 sowie Vernetzer, mit 40-95 Gew.-Teilen Poly-ß-acryloyloxypropionsäure oder eines Copolymerisats von ß-Acryloyloxypropionsäure mit mindestens einer unge­sättigten copolymerisierbaren Verbindung und 5 bis 58 Gew.-Teilen eines Polyoxyalkylens mit einem Molekularge­wicht zwischen etwa 80 und 1000 und/oder Glycerin oder wasserlöslichen Glycerinderivaten, sowie ggf. weiteren Komponenten, Vernetzern, Lösemitteln, Färbemitteln, Füll­stoffen, Alterungsinhibitoren, ein Verfahren zu seiner Herstellung durch Mischen von Homo-oder Copolymerisaten der ß-Acryloyloxypropionsäure und deren Abkömmlinge mit einem hydroxylgruppenhaltigen Weichmacher in einem wasser­löslichen Lösemittel, ggf. unter Zugabe eines Vernetzers sowie dessen Verwendung in der Papierverarbeitung.
