Abstract Translated from German Ein für alle an eine Kommunikationsanlage (KA) anschließbaren Kom­munikationsendgeräte (KE) gleiches parametergesteuertes Programm ist jeweils im Programmspeicher (M) der Kommunikationsendgeräte gespei­chert. Durch dieses Programm sind alle den unterschiedlichen Kommunikationsendgerätetypen zuordenbaren Funktionen realisiert. Die für das jeweilige Kommunikationsendgerät vorgesehenen Funk­tionen werden durch in einem Datenspeicher gespeicherte Para­meterdaten zugeordnet und gesteuert. Die Parameterdaten werden aufgrund einer Initialisierung im Kommunikationsendgerät oder in der Kommunikationsanlage von der Kommunikationsanlage an das jeweilige Kommunikationsendgerät erstmals übermittelt oder ak­tualisiert. Bei einem derart ausgestalteten Kommunikationssy­stem bleibt trotz Verlagerung von vermittlungs- und betriebs­technischen Funktionen in das Kommunikationsendgerät - bedeu­tet eine dynamische Entlastung der zentralen Steuerung der Kom­munikationsanlage - die endgeräteindividuelle flexible Zuord­nung von Funktionen und Prozeduren zu den jeweiligen Kommuni­kationsendgeräten erhalten.
