Abstract
Abstract Screw-in cup for a hip joint prosthesis, consisting of an outer support ring (1) and a plastic inner cup (2) which can be inserted into the support ring, with a cover cap (7) which has at least one metallic surface and covers that part of the inner cup (2) not surrounded by the support ring (1), and whose metal outer contour completes the spherical shape of an essentially closed semisphere or spherical cap. <IMAGE>
