Abstract
Abstract The distribution of information and advertising to the public is enhanced by providing a pay telephone structure that also includes an electronic display under computer control. Information can be transmitted to the display by means of the pay telephone. The display can also include user controls to access selected information from the computer or from external databases via the telephone.
