Abstract
Abstract In accordance with the present invention, a sanitary napkin (210) having flaps (224) and a stress relief means (250) for relieving the stresses that develop in the flaps (224) when the flaps are folded down along the edges of the wearer's panties in the crotch, is provided. The flaps (224) are associated with an absorbent means (212) along a line of juncture (226). The stress relief means (250) can be provided along the line of juncture (226) or in the flaps (224).
