Abstract In a vapour-impermeable endless conveyor belt (1) comprising a textile load-carrying component and a coating of rubber (2) or rubbery material, the load-carrying component consists of at least one cable cord thread (4) which has been wound continuously in at least one layer in the longitudinal direction of the conveyor belt (1) and has a predetermined working and breaking extension.
