Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 8
Claim 1
Independent Claim 70 words
An ink jet recording apparatus having: means for heating a recording medium guide member disposed near the ink recording area by a recording head for discharging ink; and means for switching the rate of heat imparted to the unit length of the recording medium with respect to the direction of conveyance thereof by said heating means in conformity with a parameter changing the environmental condition of said ink recording area.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 70 words
An ink jet recording apparatus having: means for heating a recording medium guide member disposed near the ink recording area by a recording head for discharging ink; and means for switching the rate of heat imparted to the unit length of the recording medium with respect to the direction of conveyance thereof by said heating means in conformity with a parameter changing the environmental condition of said ink recording area.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 44 words
An ink jet recording apparatus according to Claim 1, wherein said parameter is a predetermined time during which said recording medium stops on said guide member, and said switching means reduces the rate of heat in conformity with the lapse of said predetermined time.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 26 words
An ink jet recording apparatus according to Claim 2, wherein said switching means deenergizes said heating means in conformity with the lapse of said predetermined time.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 24 words
An ink jet recording apparatus according to Claim 1, wherein said parameter is a predetermined temperature regarding the temperature rise of the recording head.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 45 words
An ink jet recording apparatus according to Claim 4, wherein said parameter is a predetermined value regarding the temperature rise rate of the recording head, and said switching means reduces the conveyance speed of said recording medium after the completion of recording of one line.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 60 words
An ink jet recording apparatus, comprising an ink jet head for recording on a recording medium in a recording area; means for heating the medium in the vicinity of the recording area; means for monitoring a variable parameter associated with the recording area; and means for adjusting the rate of heating by the heating means in accordance with monitored parameter.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 60 words
An ink jet recording apparatus, comprising an ink jet head for recording on a recording medium in a recording area; means for heating the medium in the vicinity of the recording area; means for monitoring a variable parameter associated with the recording area; and means for adjusting the rate of heating by the heating means in accordance with monitored parameter.
