Abstract

A coating composition consisting of a soluble, electrically conductive polymer of substituted thiophenes and optionally a soluble, non-conductive polymer, applied from the solution in an aprotic solvent, gives well-adhering, electrically conductive layers on non-conductive or semiconducting materials. In this way, antistatic foils and fibers and moldings can be produced for the purposes of electronics and electrics.
