Abstract
Abstract It is known to integrate a bar code reader into the housing of a remote control transmitter. If the bar code is misread in this known remote control transmitter, the wrong data reaches the memory of a receiving device to be programmed. The novel remote control transmitter is intended to make it possible to check the data read by the bar code reader. In the novel remote control transmitter, the data read by the bar code reader are decoded and shown in plain text on a display of the remote control transmitter.
