Double-point timing device
Abstract
Known two-point spray adjusters, based on the principle of a controllable hydraulic tappet, have the disadvantage that the working piston in the hydraulic tappet is frequently moved and therefore wears out. The present invention is intended to avoid this wear without having to forego spray adjustment from stroke to stroke. The solution to the problem consists in a control piston (6) whose extension (21) opens the check valve (19) as soon as the control oil pressure in the oil line (16) drops. As a result, the working piston 3 of the hydraulic tappet 1 is pressed onto the stop (24) during the next injection stroke, where it rises until the Control oil pressure remains. This enables fast reactions of the hydraulic tappet with the least possible movement of the working piston (3). The hydraulic tappet according to the invention is particularly suitable for industrial diesel engines with single injection pumps.
