Abstract
Abstract This invention is directed to a stabilizer system useful to retard transesterification in moldable polymer blends containing polyester(s) during processing of the blends at elevated temperatures, particularly at high temperatures above about 285°C. More particularly, the stabilizer system comprises a phosphate component, a reactive functionality component comprising a compound having a imide or oxazoline functionality and, optionally, a hindered phenol component. The invention is also directed to a composition comprising the stabilizer system and a particularly defined polymer blend.
