Abstract
Abstract A polymeric colour coupler which comprises the residue of three monomeric colour couplers of the formulae where R₁ is hydrogen, alkyl, chlorine or bromine, R₂ is a divalent organic radical and W₁, W₂ and W₃ are each an active colour former moiety capable of forming upon chromogenic development of exposed silver halide material with a primary aromatic amine colour developing agent a dye, W₁ forming a yellow dye, W₂ forming a magenta dye and W₃ forming a cyan dye.
