Abstract
Abstract A terminal connection device including a plurality of contacts (31,32), each of which has a spring loaded contact probe (31a,32a) which is adapted to be pressed against a test terminal corresponding thereto to transmit a signal. A housing (30) has a plurality of holes (55,56) therethrough for holding the contacts (31,32). Each hole (55,56) has a slot (33,34) along its length opening through a side of the metal housing (30). The axes of the holes (55,56), the slots (33,34) and the sides of the housing (30) are parallel to permit extrusion of the housing blank from which the housings (30) are cut. Each of said contacts (31,32) is secured substantially at the center of each of said holes (55,56), some contacts (31) being coaxial conductors and others (32) being common or ground conductors.

A terminal connection device including a plurality of tubular contacts (31,32), each having a retractable projecting contact probe (31a,32a) which is adapted to be pressed against a contact associated with a device under test (41) to transmit a signal comprising: a. a housing (30) for holding said plurality of tubular contacts (31,32), said housing (30) having a plurality of holes (55,56) therethrough, each hole (55,56) having a slot (33,34) along its length opening through an adjacent surface of said housing(30); and b. means (40,58) supporting a tubular contact at the center of some of said holes (55,56) with the end of each tubular contact (31,32) projecting from said housing (30).
