Abstract

When adjusting the level of audio signals with the aid of C-MOS switches (IC1) (multiplexers), cracking noises occur during the adjustment process, which are interspersed in the useful signal path due to capacitive coupling of the digital control signals. In order to avoid these interfering noises, the useful signal (Ue) is fed to the input of a similarly constructed C-MOS switch (IC2). However, the useful signal is applied to this input in phase opposition via an inverter (INV). The outputs of the two C-MOS switches are (IC1, IC2), possibly via amplifier stages (OP2, OP3), each connected to an input of a differential amplifier (OP4). At the output of this differential amplifier there is a useful signal (Ua) free of cracking noises, since only the disturbing noises are compensated for. Die Erfindung wird insbesondere in Audioverstärkern verwendet. The invention is used in particular in audio amplifiers.
