Abstract

Abstract To generate two closely adjacent frequencies (f1, f2), two oscillators (10, 11) generating the two frequencies are controlled via a PLL loop (14, 15, 16) in that only one of the two frequencies (for example f1) is compared with a reference frequency (fref) in the PLL loop (14, 15, 16) and both oscillators are controlled by the frequency comparison output signal obtained from the comparison. <IMAGE>
