Die Vorrichtung besteht aus einer faser­haltigen Filterschicht, die Erythrozyten agglutinierende Antikörper und gegebenenfalls ein Lektin enthält, oder aus einer Filterschicht aus Glasfasern und einem Lektin. Sie wird hergestellt durch Tränken der Filterschicht mit einer Lösung des Antikörpers und/oder des Lektins und anschließender Trocknung. Die Vorrichtung wird in diagno­stischen Elementen verwendet.
