Process for making glass panes with a high transmissivity in the visible spectrum and a high reflexivity for infrared light, and panes made by this process
Abstract
A layer system is built up on mineral glass substrates in the following order: Layer 1: oxide from the group of tin oxide, silicon dioxide, aluminum oxide, tantalum oxide and zirconium oxide or their mixed oxides Layer 2: alloy of 80 weight percent nickel and 20 weight percent chrome Layer 3: silver or a silver alloy with at least 50 percent by weight silver Layer 4: alloy of 80 weight percent nickel and 20 weight percent chrome Layer 5: oxide from the group of tin oxide, silicon dioxide, aluminum oxide, tantalum oxide and zirconium oxide or their mixed oxides Im Anschluß daran wird das Substrat mit dem gesamten Schichtpaket auf die Erweichungstemperatur des Glases erwärmt und in die Endform gebogen. The substrate and the entire layer package are then heated to the softening temperature of the glass and bent into the final shape.
